Our Missoula week actually ended on a Tuesday (which I already elaborated on in my Week One post). We had Wednesday at home. Then I (just me!) was gone again to Boise on Thursday for my Boise Bunco.
My super sweet hubby had taken Friday off so I could leave Thursday when he got home & have until Saturday in Boise ALONE to hang with the girls.

Boise Bunco was a 'breakfast for dinner' theme. Kristin served mimosas, a breakfast casserole, cereal trail mix as a snack & a coffee cake for dessert. And, as you can see, we all dressed up in our pjs. That night, I LOST (what?!?) & Kristin won (which almost NEVER happens) & I walked away with a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts as my prize for the night. (She warned me she was going to take my money & make me fat.)

After a full day of shopping the following day & lunch at USwirl, I treated a few of my girlies to a fancy fundraiser dinner that my cousin Kelly put on for Young Lives. We had a fabulous steak dinner, but the apps were by far my fave.

This is me with my lovely waitress & cousin, the beautiful Kelly.
|
And after a big, yummo meal, I started the following day with a spin class with that same fabulous waitress from the night before. Afterwards, she treated me to coffee before I had to jet back home to my boys.

Within two hours of my arrival back into Twin, Shad's Aunt Patty came over from Seattle. She came to watch Cashe for us the following week while we went on a business trip for Shad's work, but she came early enough that we got to show her around & take her to the Falls.
Although the week was wildly busy & seemed too short, it was absolutely fantastic! I got some great quality family time, a good, safe drive home from MT with my Little Man. I got a few minutes with my thoughtful & loving husband (who also surprised me with all the gifts I had asked for for Mother's Day when I got home from Boise!!) AND, I had a wonderful, relaxing time with some incredible girlfriends.
Life is good.
