Yo! Sammedy National Park

When I was little, I remember the Looney Tunes cartoon character, Yosemite Sam & I always thought his name was, "Yo! Sammedy-Sam". I had no idea his name was Yosemite because what 6-year-old would pronounce Yosemite correctly? Phonetically, if you look at it, it should be Yo-seh-might.

(What a boring English-Teacher-Blogger I am.)

Anyway, the three of us spent yesterday in Yo! Sammedy National Park & had a BLAST! I have actually been to Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Canyon & even Canada's Banff National Park, so I knew what to expect. Shad, on the other hand, has never been to a National Park, so he thought we were going to look at a few mountains & trees (which can be quite boring if you're from Montana).

Well, he was in for a surprise! National Parks ROCK! God ROCKS! We saw some of the most amazing granite cliffs, giant sequoia trees & some killer waterfalls. We had the most gorgeous day & the most beautiful scenery to gaze at. As always, pictures don't even do it justice. We all laughed a bunch, hiked a bunch & just enjoyed God's beauty & each other. Whatta day!
