... well, not really a jet plane per se.
Some of you may or may not know that Shad recently accepted a pharmaceutical sales position with Eli Lilly.
The good news is that he will no longer be traveling the majority of the month & he will be home with his family every night. The difficult news is that the position is located in Twin Falls, which means we will be relocating to Twin Falls the last week of January 2012.
Hopefully this isn't the first some of you are hearing about this change in our lives. However, I am sure you all know how hard it was/is for me to accept because we have such an incredible network of friends who we consider family that we have developed over the course of the last 7 years here in Boise. It was not easy to make the decision because we will be leaving a great group of friends, a great school for Cashe, a great home & neighborhood & many, many great memories that we have had & we looked forward to making.
Shad & I prayed a lot about the job offer & the move & decided this is what is best for us financially & as a family. It is important that Cashe see his father every night if we have the opportunity, so we decided to go ahead with the move. We do not know what the future holds & according to friends we have in the pharmaceutical industry, the next few years will bring a lot of changes for our family. We're willing to roll with the punches & try out this new adventure God has in store for us!
With all that being said, we are hoping to rent our home in Meridian. We are (obviously) looking for someone reliable & trustworthy & clean who is looking for a home with 3 bedrooms/2 baths (1660 square feet) & is EAGER to live next to a substation! It really isn't that bad -- we have a lot of privacy because of the substation & Cashe was born with no bizarre deformities & none of us have grown any extra arms or legs or anything. The pool is phenomenal in the summertime & it's a great location close enough to Eagle Road, but not too close to the crazy traffic.
We wanted to get the message out to friends in addition to posting through our Realtor. If any of you fellow bloggers have any leads or know of anyone with any interest of renting in this area, please let one of us know.
Twin Falls is only 2 hours away & if Twin Falls is our new home for good, then we expect to have you all visit at some point in the near future. However, if this is just a temporary gig for us in this wild pharmaceutical life we hear of, then perhaps we'll be back. We DO plan on making regular Boise appearances, so don't be surprised if we show up on your doorstep with suitcases in tow!
