All Smiles

Life could seriously not get any better right now. I hate saying that because I'm not a superstitious girl; I'm a believer in God. Therefore, I believe that life has trials & the reason God gives us trials is because tribulation produces perserverence & perserverence builds our character & hope. I look at it as if He's basically trying to teach me something.

Anyway, the whole point of me saying that is ... a superstitious person may say that things are too good right now, so something bad is bound to happen soon. Well, chances are, something bad is bound to happen again in my lifetime, but I hope to just grow from it ... & I just really hope it's not around the corner because life is just too grand right now.

Why? Well, Cashe ROCKS! (I know I will need to save this until 2025 & reread it.) He is the best baby any parents could ask for. (Shad keeps telling me not to jinx it - whatever, don't be superstitious, Shad.) But seriously, Cashe sleeps all night. He naps two long, full naps each day & every other waking minute, he's SMILING! Really, does it get any better than this? Mind you though, it was a LONG 4 months to get to this point. He cried & cried & cried sometimes for what seemed like no reason at all & he rarely napped for more than 10 minutes & he rarely smiled.

Well, not only is he smiling because he has cool parents, he starts preschool at the coolest preschool ever next month! Yes, preschool for a 4-month old. I know, we're going to have a genius on our hands. (I'm just kidding.) We have several friends who take their children to this in-home preschool & rave about it. She (the preschool teacher) takes infants too, so why wouldn't we jump on that bandwagon for some social interaction for Cashe (since weeks with only his parents in a hotel room may socially stunt him)?

Of course there are several things Cashe won't get to participate in at preschool until he's older, but he is included in all of the activities, which thrills me! He will go to the library, Idaho Ice World, gymnastics, field trips to the dentist & the zoo & the waterpark. They have themed days which include pajama days & Johnny Appleseed Day. They do art projects each day & even brush their teeth after lunch! Is this not the cutest thing you've ever heard of? Shad & I couldn't stop smiling as we got "the tour". I so want to be little again!
