9 Years

Look how boring the title of this post is ... what's happened to me?



Better yet, where have I been?



I really don't know.



Blogger seems to take 100+ years to upload any photos. Not to mention, I've had some serious writer's block. So, I've been slacking on my blog posts & I'm sure you're all terribly sad. Sob ... sob ... sniff ... sniff.



Well, one thing that happened (over the past month that I haven't written anything) was our celebration of 9 years of marriage.



Remember the time I posted hundreds of photos of us over the course of our years together? Well, refer to that because this lady has no patience for that these days & you get one measley photo of Shad & I in the car. BORING.



No, I'm not pregnant.



I'm just busy.



How did we celebrate? Well, first of all - our anniversary was August 31st & we celebrated on September 10th. THAT tells you how chaotic life has been in the Nyquest household. We went to Tucanos Brazillian restaurant for dinner & stuffed ourselves with veggies from their yummo salad bar & Shad ate their heavenly meats. Mmmm ...


Then, my super duper sweetie pie hubby let me pick the movie to go see, so we went & saw Bridesmaids at the dollar theatre. It ROCKED. Go see it if you haven't. Even if you're not a movie buff (Kelly Elly), you'll pee your pants (or come close). I don't care who you are, I swear you'll laugh at least once.



And that was it!



The weekend prior, we had plans to watch the BSU game with friends & the weekend prior to that, we were visiting family in Portland. That trip was certainly a special one that we considered to be our 'gift' to each other, in addition to our CRUISE we're taking next weekend! SO ... dollar theatre schmollar theatre - we're going to the Bahamas!
