This week started off extra special with my birthday! I woke up to a very adorably wrapped birthday gift from my boys. (Way to recycle Cashe's bday gift bags, Love!)

| Inside was something magical: an iPad! |

Later that day, my friend Alexis brought her two little sweeties over for a playdate (in our boring backyard).
Her little Miss was sure thirsty! |

Shad took me out to dinner for my birthday at Canyon Crest.

Another fun thing we were chosen to do was be the 'host home' for Owen, our friends' son, who made a paper version of himself to send to Idaho (from CA) to explore & learn about Idaho.
We take photos of the places we take him & we can make clothes for him, read to him, etc.
Here Owen is watching a movie with Cashe before bed.

Here is our car that we're selling too -- in hopes that maybe someone will see it on my blog & have to have it!
It's a 2006 Honda Pilot. If you are interested or know of anyone who might be, message me & I'll send you details! |

I had gotten a Barnes & Noble gift card for my birthday, so Cashe & I went & picked out a few books for him since the ones he has are getting a little worn out (& we've memorized them). He picked out a Nemo book that he carried around ALL day.

A few months ago (March), my Dad had come through town on his way to do some work in Utah & Nevada. He FINALLY finished & was on his way home after 2 & a half months & stopped to stay a few nights with us.
We ordered pizza one night & vegged, we went to the lake the next day & sat in the sun, we lounged on the back patio & watched Cashe play at his water table, & one night my sweet friend Jodi brought us dinner.
Which reminds me, I'm sure I've blogged about this in prior posts, but all of my wonderful girlfriends here in Twin are making me meals for the remainder of this month for my birthday as a gift to me. We've had chicken fettucini alfredo, shredded beef lettuce wraps & a super yummy soup & salad. Wow, God is good - I've only been here a few months & we are truly just blessed with an incredible circle of friends already.

| Playing at his water table, the best invention ever. It occupies him forever. |
 |
| Hanging out with Grandpa. |
 |
| He insists on climbing WITH his apple. |
 |
Sliding with his apple.
This child would move in to the playland at the park if he could.
He wakes up & the first words out of his mouth are, "park, park, park". |
 |
| This was taken at lunch after church. I love the look Cashe is giving Shad. |
 |
We finished the week by EATING, yes eating, several colors of playdough.
I suppose it's better than eating mud or poop (which tends to happen more often than not), but I'm so ready for this "eating everything in sight" phase in his life to be OVER. |
