Our meal was awesome & our waiter even gave us a ride to the car in a golf cart! (This was after Amber Joy had already ran to get the car in heels, so we had to chase h
er down in the golf cart with no horn.)
The condo we stayed in was adorable. It overlooked the rive
r & was just the perfect size for 5 girls. We did nothing but watch 5 different chick-flicks, eat nothing but gourmet food all day & all night, read Hollywood gossip magazines, rave about our incredible husbands (uh huh, it's true!), & laugh a lot.
Amber Joy had the perfect story for everything, like she always does. Sunshine is a girl after
my own heart with her ADHD-calorie-counting-P90X personality. Darcy (the dinosaur who doesn't text) was an absolute riot with some of the wildest stories & hysterical one-liners. And Jen was her usual, positive, uplifing self who gave us all shoulder massages & made sure this prego girl was always comfy.
We did manage to pull ourselves off the couches & venture into town in the rain for coffees & a little shopping. And
as predicted, we woke up to snow this morning! (Awfully crazy since it was 90 degrees in Boise last week!)
The weekend was just amazing; not only was it so relaxing & full of many memories, I was provided much motherly advice from some admirable mothers.
It was a weekend where we all left feeling "So Lo Ved". (Darcy struggled a little with Amber Joy's mother-in-law's license plate & couldn't figure out what So Lo Ved meant.)
