We have been in our home for four years now & we never had a bug problem ... until now.
A few months ago, I had pulled out a few outfits for all three of us for family photos & had them hanging in the master bedroom on our dresser. Shad went to put on one of the shirts I chose & it was stuck to mine! How? They were connected by this massive spider web. (I'm gagging right now.)
He thought it was just some sort of crazy fabric fuzz that appeared out of no where. I knew it wasn't because it hadn't been there the day before when I hung them on the dresser. Sure enough, as we started to investigate, a giant brown spider jumped out of his shirt & crawled across the floor! (I have goosebumps right now.)
Then, the other day I was feeding Cashe in the living room & this freaky long-legged black spider came out of no where! As I got closer, I could tell the thing was pregnant! (My skin is crawling right now.) So, I squished the nasty thing - babies & all - sorry PETA fans (it's PETA, right? Not PITA? That's a type of bread. Or FICA? FICA's tax-related.)
ANYWAY, only a few hours after that, we got a flyer on our door for discounted insect repellant sprayers to come out & spray our home. The dude even CIRCLED the spider discount & put a smiley face next to it! (I think he planted these freaky things here to make a sale!)
So, yesterday I came home from running errands & there was a huge, fuzzy black spider crawling across the garage ceiling hovering over the car! What the heck??
I was so afraid he was going to pounce on Cashe & I. So, I got in the backseat, got Cashe out of his car seat & slid across the car so we could get out on opposite side of where the spider was camped out ready to launch his attack on us.
Luckily, we were safe, but he's still out there somewhere. I kept my eye on him for hours - checking frequently to see if he had moved & sadly, I lost him as of this morning. I have no clue where he went, but as soon as I find him, he's headed to Spider H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks to see his wife & kids.
I love your narrative, Nicole! Sorry that the creatures are invading! Don't you dare send them next door!
